Job summary

The HR Ally is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Developer) to design, build, deploy, and support the Agency's systems and integrations. This hybrid, 12 months + extension role requires leading delivery and coordinating with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

You will work across the SDLC, implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS, and develop APIs using Golang, TypeScript, and Python, with Docker, Kubernetes and IaC tooling guiding your work.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
• Expertise in Terraform for automating provisioning.
• Experience building APIs in Golang, TypeScript, Python (REST/GraphQL).
• Docker, Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
• DevOps with CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab), Artifactory, Vault.
• Automated testing across unit/integration/functional; collaborate with QA.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, deploying, and supporting the Agency's systems, applications, and integrations.
• Prioritize and manage the work queue to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
• Ensure solutions adhere to integration best practices and architectural principles and are well documented.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Lead project teams in an Agile development framework.
• Engage stakeholders to define project requirements, set priorities, and deliver results.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding quality and standards.
• Ensure solutions are pragmatic, value for money, and deliver on purpose.
