Job summary

MediAesthetics is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve our Azure cloud foundation, identity platforms, endpoint management and security capabilities across our national brand ecosystem. You will architect, build, automate and operate scalable cloud infrastructure while partnering with AI and data initiatives.

You will implement observability, governance and PCI-aligned security, enabling data platforms and AI projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience building, deploying and managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong Azure expertise across infrastructure, networking, identity and security.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SSO and identity management.
• Experience administering Auth0, Okta or similar identity platforms.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps, automation and CI/CD practices.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code capability using Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
• Scripting skills across PowerShell and/or Python.
• Practical information security experience within enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, deployment and ongoing management of our Azure environment.
• Design scalable, resilient and secure cloud solutions across networking, compute, storage and identity.
• Build and automate infrastructure through modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, documentation and operational runbooks.
• Support the Azure infrastructure underpinning our Databricks and data platform evolution.
• Lead the administration and optimisation of Microsoft Intune.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, identity services, SSO and access management.
• Own the Auth0 identity platform and its integration across our application ecosystem.
• Continuously improve endpoint security, compliance and device management capabilities.
• Implement and operate security controls across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Partner with security teams to maintain standards and governance.
• Support incident response activities and strengthen security posture.
• Contribute to PCI compliance and security maturity initiatives.
• Design and implement proactive monitoring and observability across cloud environment.

At MediAesthetics, we're building the technology foundations that will power the next phase of growth across Australia's leading aesthetic and skin health brands, including SILK Laser Clinics, Australian Skin Clinics and Clear Skincare Clinics.

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our Azure cloud environment, identity platforms, endpoint management and infrastructure security capability. This is a genuinely hands-on role where you'll architect, build, automate and operate the environments you design.

As our Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a critical role in building the next generation of our technology environment.

You'll establish and own the Azure infrastructure that supports everything from data engineering and analytics through to AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives. You'll create the observability, security and governance foundations needed to scale our technology ecosystem while working alongside a high-performing Technology team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the architecture, deployment and ongoing management of our Azure environment.
• Design scalable, resilient and secure cloud solutions across networking, compute, storage and identity.
• Build and automate infrastructure through modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Identity & Endpoint Management

• Lead the administration and optimisation of Microsoft Intune.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity services, SSO and access management.

• Continuously improve endpoint security, compliance and device management capabilities.

Information Security

• Implement and operate security controls across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Partner with the Wesfarmers Health Cyber Security team to maintain security standards and governance.
• Support incident response activities and strengthen infrastructure security posture.
• Contribute to PCI compliance and ongoing security maturity initiatives.

Monitoring & Observability

• Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities across our cloud environment.
• Establish operational visibility into infrastructure health, performance and security.
• Drive a culture of prevention rather than reaction through effective monitoring practices.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with our Head of Applications & AI and Senior Data Engineer to enable business-critical technology initiatives.
• Partner with Retail Technology teams to support endpoint and device solutions across our clinic network.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across cloud infrastructure and security domains.

• Establish a documented target-state Azure architecture.
• Build robust monitoring and observability capabilities across our cloud environment.
• Improve endpoint security and device management coverage.
• Create scalable, automated infrastructure management practices.
• Deliver a secure and reliable cloud foundation that supports AI, data and automation initiatives.
• Reduce reliance on manual infrastructure administration through automation and standardisation.

About You
