Strategic fractional role for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Architect. Audit, Automate, and Scale Azure Infrastructure for a Series A SaaS.

The Role

We are a Perth-based Series A SaaS company scaling from $1M ARR. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Advisor to join us on a fractional basis (approx. 16 hours/week) for a targeted 3-month engagement.

You will not be "writing tickets." You will audit our infrastructure, fix high-priority security gaps, and automate deployment pipelines to unblock our lead engineers.

The Mission (3-Month Project)

• Audit: Review Azure configurations and CI/CD pipelines for bottlenecks.
• Secure: Remediate critical gaps to align with SOC 2 Type 2 standards.
• Automate: Implement "One-Click" deployment for our core enterprise products.
• Optimise: Cut Azure waste and implement proactive monitoring.

Who You Are

• A "Mercenary": You are an independent contractor or consultant with your own ABN, looking to add a high-impact client to your portfolio.
• Expert: You have 10+ years in Engineering/DevOps. You have done this before.
• Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Azure, .NET, Azure DevOps, and SOC 2 compliance.

The Deal

• Engagement: 3 Months (Potential for extension).
• Load: 2 Days per week (Flexible/Hybrid).
