A governmental department in New South Wales is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator to lead a Cloud Administration team. You will manage cloud systems across AWS and AZURE platforms, handling technical support and vendor relations. Senior Cloud Administrator
Manage a team providing expert Cloud system management and support, including administration, interoperability and policy design for usage and compliance as well as performance measuring and monitoring, working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall operational maintenance management of DCJ ICT Cloud environments and solutions.
The Senior Cloud Administrator / Cloud Applications Lead is responsible for the delivery, support, escalation, and maintenance of systems deployed on Amazon and AZURE cloud platforms across the division of Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery (CTSD).
As a team lead of the Cloud Administration team, you will take a hands-on technical approach to managing a team providing specialist administration and support across managed integrated cloud systems and working with cloud technical support and resource management stakeholders to deliver improved ongoing operation of Cloud environments.
You are expected to have excellent working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AZURE cloud platforms, AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Cloud Watch, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, multi-AZ configuration etc, and AZURE services such as Azure Monitor Data, SQLDatabase, Azure LogicApps, Autoscaling, backup and restore etc and their interrelationship with the applications deployed.
You will also be responsible for the day-to-day support tickets, acting as an escalation point for the team and working with vendors as well as managing delivery and implementation of product enhancements and change requests.
