Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an experienced Senior Clinician to join the LikeMind team, delivering recovery-oriented mental health support across multiple sites in Sydney. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, supervise junior staff, and work with families and carers to coordinate care across Local Health Districts.

Full-time, permanent role with salary of $50.52–$55.84 per hour plus super. The role supports ongoing professional development and operates across Community Mental Health Centres

Qualifications

• Approved tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
• Provisional or full registration with AHPRA or an appropriate professional body.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical mental health experience with adults.
• Experience in acute mental health, risk assessments and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments including risk assessments and initial treatment planning.
• Mentor, supervise and consult to L1 and L2 clinicians within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with consumers and families to deliver recovery-oriented support.
• Participate in triage and intake, assess concerns and negotiate care plans.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary review and service planning.
