Bendigo Health invites applications for a Senior Clinician in the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. This role supports psychiatric triage, intake, assessment and treatment, with psycho-education for patients and families, under the supervision of the Manager and Psychiatrists.

We welcome Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists committed to improving community mental health outcomes and delivering person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with current registration.
• Must have evidence of full immunisation prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric triage, intake, assessment and treatment.
• Deliver psycho-education and support for patients and families.
• Collaborate with Manager and psychiatrists to coordinate care.

Position Title: Senior Clinician - Community Mental health and Wellbeing Service. Classification: NP75 - NP77, YB24 - YB27, YC46 - YC49. Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $4,664.40 - $5,023.20, $4,232.20 - $3,682.00. Hours per fortnight: 80 (including an ADO every 4 weeks). Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

In the context of an integrated community mental health team, and under the direction of the Manager and team Psychiatrist(s), the Community Mental Health Senior Clinician will provide psychiatric triage, intake, assessment and treatment, psycho-education and support for patients of Psychiatric Services and their families /carer(s).
