Job summary

Queensland Health's CHQ Pharmacy seeks a Senior Pharmacist (Medical) to deliver high level clinical pharmacy services in acute hospital settings, including complex medical units and outpatient clinics. The role involves independent judgement, multidisciplinary collaboration and mentoring of junior staff.

You will contribute to service improvement and guidelines, supporting children’s health services within CHQ. Part-time position based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high level clinical pharmacy services within a variety of complex medical caseloads in an acute hospital setting.
• Exercise independent judgement in matters beyond routine practice with minimal supervision.
• Provide high level advice and support to the multidisciplinary team and clients.
• Initiate, develop and implement service improvement activities.
• Guide, mentor and supervise less experienced staff and students.
