Job summary
RATP Dev is seeking an experienced Civil & Structure Engineer to join the SRL Operator Technical Team and Engineering Authority. You will ensure civil and structural designs support future SRL operations, and perform technical reviews and expert guidance across above-ground, underground, and ventilation assets.
Reporting to the Engineering Authority Manager, you will drive safety in design, review contractor deliverables, conduct site inspections, and contribute to Life Cycle Cost decisions,
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years in Civil & Structural design for rail projects.
- Experience with tunnels, stations, stabling yards and ventilation shafts.
- Ability to review designs for operational suitability and safety.
- Proven track record delivering technical reviews on time.
- Strong communication and negotiation across partners and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Design & Interface Review: Lead and coordinate technical reviews of Civil & Structural design packages (tunnels, stations, stabling yards).
- Risk & Safety Management: Identify design risks and drive safety outcomes in SiD forums.
- Handover & As-Built Assurance: Review contractor As-Built drawings, BIM models, and handover deliverables.
- Site Inspections & Testing: Witness construction completions and handover demos on-site.
- O&M Readiness & Asset Data: Develop maintenance procedures and validate asset data.
- Engineering Governance: Author technical reports and advise Engineering Review Committee.
