Job summary

The Northern Territory Department of Logistics and Infrastructure invites applications for a Manager Projects within the Engineering Department. This senior role focuses on delivering major civil infrastructure programs, including the Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage (AROWS) project, across the Darwin region.

You will provide high-level engineering and project management advice, lead planning, design, procurement and construction phases, manage time, cost, quality and risk, and build

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with registration eligibility.
• Extensive experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated project, contract and procurement management capability within multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in water infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level engineering and project management advice for complex major infrastructure projects.
• Lead project planning, investigations, design development, procurement and pre-construction activities.
• Manage project delivery across time, cost, quality and risk requirements.
• Coordinate and advise on technical, environmental, cultural, land tenure and approval interfaces.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across government, industry and specialist consultants.
