Job summary

Strive Civil Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil infrastructure projects from planning and design through procurement, construction and close-out. The role combines technical leadership, site involvement and client engagement with a hands-on, multi-disciplinary small business environment.

You will mentor engineers and graduates, manage budgets and program milestones, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and contractual requirements on projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience with construction or project delivery background.
• Experience managing civil infrastructure projects or significant work packages, with strong earthworks, pavements and drainage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil infrastructure projects from scoping through handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, survey information and site conditions.
• Develop construction methodologies, work programs, budgets and resources.
• Provide technical leadership across roads, drainage, earthworks and bridges.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client representatives.
• Monitor project costs, variations, forecasts and cash flow.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, design queries and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and standards.
• Mentor engineers, graduates and supervisors to support professional development.
