Job summary

Engineering Design & Consulting in Brisbane is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to civil infrastructure and land development projects. The role welcomes professionals across experience levels, offering flexible hours and work-from-home options while delivering major Queensland projects.

Key duties include design of roads, earthworks, stormwater, and preparation of technical drawings, calculations and documentation for clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil engineering design within an Australian consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of roads, drainage, earthworks and land development engineering.
• Familiarity with Australian engineering standards and local authority requirements.
• Experience using relevant civil engineering design software.
• Ability to manage technical deliverables and work collaboratively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Civil engineering design for residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
• Design of roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage and associated infrastructure.
• Preparation and review of engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
• Working with clients, consultants and relevant authorities to achieve project outcomes.
• Managing engineering deliverables and supporting projects through design and construction.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
