Job summary

Connectted in Melbourne seeks a Senior to Associate Civil Engineer with strong 12D design experience for road and highway projects. Based in Richmond, you will help shape a growing consultancy, lead design delivery, and mentor a developing team as it targets interstate work.

You will work on freeways, intersections, temporary works, culverts, bridges, and risk analysis, while building client relationships and contributing to the firm’s future direction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong road/highway design experience within Australia.
• Proficient in 12D.
• Sound knowledge of Austroads guidelines and road authority standards.
• Ability to lead design packages and communicate with clients and project teams.
• Desire to take ownership, develop people and contribute to business growth.

Senior to Associate Civil Engineer – 12D - Roads & Highway Infrastructure

Connectted is partnering with a boutique engineering consultancy seeking a Senior to Associate Civil Engineer with strong 12D design experience across road and highway infrastructure projects.

Based in Richmond and delivering interstate projects, this consultancy is entering an exciting stage of growth. With plans to build a team of 15–25 staff, this is an opportunity to join early, help shape the business and become a vital part of its future.

The opportunity

Working alongside an industry expert, you’ll contribute to a varied portfolio spanning freeways, intersections, temporary works, culverts & bridge structures and risk analysis.

Alongside hands‑on design and project delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a team, strengthen client relationships and help expand a business with significant growth potential over the coming years.
