Job summary

BG&E, now part of the SYSTRA Group, seeks a Senior Civil Drafter to join the Brisbane team. You will lead rail drafting across multi-stage projects, mentor juniors, and coordinate with engineers and designers, delivering high-quality outputs on major infrastructure opportunities.

You’ll bring strong AutoCAD 2D skills, exposure to 12d, and about 8+ years of senior drafting experience. A flexible work arrangement and competitive remuneration are offered.

Qualifications

• Senior Civil Drafter with rail/major infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lead drafting deliverables on complex projects.
• Experience reviewing drawings for quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of rail drawings across project stages.
• Own drafting deliverables, priorities and deadlines.
• Develop coordinated drafting solutions for complex projects.
• Coordinate drafting across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify risks and drive practical solutions.
• Oversee CAD model coordination and drawing production.
• Mentor junior drafters and provide guidance.
• Contribute to project planning and stakeholder coordination.
• Act as link between Drafting Manager and team.
