Department of Families, Fairness & Housing VIC – Sale VIC is seeking a Senior Child Protection Practitioner to supervise a team, manage cases and support practice development. The role involves in-country travel, occasional overnight work, and using department vehicles.

You will collaborate with the Team Manager to strengthen case practice, ensure safety and development of children, and deliver effective services with a strong social-justice focus.

Qualificações

• Social work, welfare or psychology related qualification and/or relevant experience.
• 4+ years' work experience in child protection or related welfare.
• Hold or obtain Working with Children check (WWCC).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise team members in daily tasks within a structured learning program.
• Provide case planning advice and support on high-risk cases.
• Lead planning, review and management of issues per best practice and legislation.
• Develop and coach others in risk assessment and analysis.
• Establish strong relationships with team, colleagues and stakeholders.
