Job summary

VACCA in Victoria seeks a Senior Case Manager to work with Aboriginal children and families, and partner agencies to improve outcomes and support home-based care decisions. The role involves mentoring staff and handling complex cases with culturally safe approaches.

You will collaborate with the Team Leader, participate in planning, and contribute to policy and service development within VACCA’s values-driven framework. Eligible for salary packaging and extensive training.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required with experience in child and family services.
• Ability to assess risks and develop and review plans for children and young people.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal child and family welfare context.

Responsibilities

• Work with Aboriginal children and families, and government partners to improve outcomes.
• Provide high duties and supervise the team under the Team Leader.
• Manage complex cases with trauma and resilience-based approaches.
