Job summary

OpenTable in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Private Dining team. You will build and maintain scalable C# .NET backend services and RESTful APIs for OpenTable's global Private Dining platform, driving end-to-end delivery.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across offices, applying TDD, SOLID, and CI/CD practices to deliver high-impact enterprise features and reliable systems. This role is hybrid with in-office days in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Proven experience building and scaling high-volume RESTful APIs and distributed microservices.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and core software principles (SOLID, TDD).
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and containerization.
• Experience leading planning and driving CI/CD pipelines into production.
