Job summary

The Department for Child Protection in Keswick is seeking a Senior Business Support Officer to provide rostering assistance and robust administrative support in line with government policy and procedures.

In this role you will manage rostering, improve efficiency, handle records management and salary information systems, and produce memos and letters while liaising with a range of stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate communications.

Job description

Role Status: Full-time temporary vacancy available until 30 June 2027
Remuneration: ASO3 ($74,095 - $78,694) plus 12% superannuation

Role Details:

As a Senior Business Support Officer based in Keswick , you will provide rostering assistance that is accurate and published within designated timeframes. Your comprehensive administrative support will involve exemplary verbal and written communication, as you liaise with a range of stakeholders. You will contribute to the development and implementation of departmental systems and processes that improve efficiency surrounding rostering practices. This detail-orientated role will ensure services operate smoothly in-line with government policy and procedures.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage rostering that adheres to established staffing patterns and ratios
  • Heighten departmental efficiency by improving rostering practices
  • Provide high-quality administrative support concerning records management, staff audits and salary information systems
  • Manage daily correspondence through accurate processing and communication
  • Produce memos, letters and assist with research endeavours to formulate reports.
