Job summary

Transport For NSW is seeking a Senior Business & Process Analyst for a temporary opportunity up to 2 years, based in Sydney. You will lead business analysis, process analysis and functional design for NSW Motorways, evaluating current-state operations to design fit-for-purpose future-state solutions with architects, IT stakeholders and ERP vendors.

You will plan BA activities, maintain artifact quality, manage interdependencies and provide decision support to governance.

Qualifications

• Lead business analysis, process improvement and delivery management for complex portfolios.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements.
• Experience across Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities to analyse current-state processes, controls, data and systems.
• Define requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Develop future-state process designs and functional solution options (BPMN, data models, user stories).
• Plan BA work plans, maintain traceability, and align milestones with project objectives.
• Partner with vendors and external consultants to review designs and manage risks.
• Support governance through transparent decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
