Job summary

Michael Page seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive business analysis and commercial reporting across a complex ASX-listed engineering group. You will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and support month-end and year-end reporting, while contributing to process improvements and transformational initiatives.

The role requires strong accounting/finance fundamentals, proven financial analysis experience, and the ability to deliver insights to inform strategic decisions

Qualifications

Strong background in accounting or finance is essential.
Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting within industrial/manufacturing sectors.
Experience in a project-heavy environment is desirable.
Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Commercial analysis to support month-end and year-end reporting.
Support systems, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
