About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join the ICT PMO team and work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements, lead the development of future state business workflows and support the successful delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

Applying agile and hybrid waterfall methodologies alongside established business analysis frameworks and standards, you will drive business value and ensure maximum return on investment across a diverse portfolio of ICT systems.

Some of your key responsibilities will include :
  • Deliver specialist technical and functional guidance to stakeholders and management on complex ICT systems, identifying improvement opportunities and mitigating risks
  • Lead business discovery and requirements gathering by facilitating workshops to analyse current ICT applications and processes, capture functional, business, and technical requirements, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Design and implement methodologies, processes, and best practices for business analysis across ICT, supporting team members in their application
  • Lead stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, communication plans, and change management activities to ensure successful system enhancements and implementations
  • Oversee planning, design, and implementation of corporate business systems, including test plan development, execution, and quality assurance for project deliverables
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, provide leadership and coaching to team members, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the ICT branch

About you
  • Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a business analysis / information system and business systems discipline
  • Extensive experience in business analysis and supporting delivery of projects underpinned by good practice in a dynamic, complex public sector environment
  • Exceptional communication, engagement and influencing skills with the ability to remain composed and calm in any circumstance
  • Strategic thinking, research, and critical evaluation skills, and a sound understanding of stakeholder engagement methodologies
  • High level of skill in business analysis frameworks, standards, processes that underpins success and outcome driven solutions
  • Knowledge of the systems delivery lifecycle and proven experience in the configuration, testing and deployment of applications and systems integration
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business requirements, lead workshops, and model business processes, with proven agility in adapting to changing needs
