Interpret imagery to map landscape attributes.
Advise on assessment matters such as Property Maps of Assessable Vegetation, Map Amendment Requests, and Environmental Impact Statements.
Collect vegetation data for validation of mapping products.
Develop and implement new mapping and monitoring methods.
Provide technical information on ecology and vegetation mapping.
Collaborate with a team of scientists and technical staff.
Knowledge of Vegetation Management Act 1999, Environmental Protection Act, Nature Conservation Act, and Planning Act.
Support Queensland Herbarium's plant identification service.
Foster workplace culture supporting First Nations engagement.
