Job summary

Hunter Philips Ltd is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer for two utility-scale BESS projects in Victoria. The role involves hands-on electrical and controls testing, troubleshooting PLCs and networks, and delivering commissioning activities with site teams and engineering specialists.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' commissioning experience in BESS or related sectors, strong control systems knowledge, and proven fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

5+ years' commissioning experience in BESS/renewables or industrial environments.
Strong electrical and/or control systems knowledge.
Practical fault-finding and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and controls testing and commissioning on utility-scale BESS installations.
Test and troubleshoot PLCs, control systems, industrial networks and switches.
Identify and resolve electrical, controls and communication faults.
