Job summary

Neuronimbus Software Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Azure Synapse Engineer to join an enterprise data engineering team delivering large-scale data solutions in a regulated environment. You will design, implement, and optimize Azure-based data platforms, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping technical direction.

You will work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, and ADLS, contributing to architecture, governance, and CI/CD practices to ensure scalable and compliant data solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• 4+ years on Azure cloud data platforms.

The role will involve hands‑on engineering across the Azure data platform, while also contributing to solution design, technical direction, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data solutions using Azure data platform technologies.
• Work extensively with Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Contribute to solution architecture and influence technical decisions across data engineering initiatives.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and engineering solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Implement and support CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering workloads.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Platform, Business, and Delivery teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Ensure solutions meet the required standards for security, scalability, reliability, and governance, particularly within regulated environments.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of overall software/data engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure cloud data platforms.
• Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, and ADLS.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, scalable data solutions, and enterprise data platforms.
