Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience implementing AWS services across distributed computing environments.
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key stakeholders.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Own the Application Modernisation workstream end-to-end: domain decomposition, API design, solution architecture, delivery governance.
• Lead the decomposition of a 30-year-old Oracle monolith into domain APIs.
• Define and sequence domain teardown across business units, manage dependencies and minimise disruption.
• Design production, web-facing APIs with versioning that avoids breaking existing consumers.
• Balance future-domain contracts with pragmatic v1 designs to limit rework and risk.
• Establish end-to-end modernisation process from legacy discovery to cutover planning.
• Collaborate with AI workstream lead to integrate AI-assisted discovery with domain design decisions.
• Advise senior customer stakeholders on architecture direction and sequencing trade-offs.
• Act as senior technical authority on legacy decomposition across teams.
• Mentor team capability in legacy modernisation, domain-driven design, API-first delivery.
• Establish governance: design reviews, API design standards, change impact assessment.
