Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Aerospace, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Substantial professional background in autonomy, perception, robotics, or aerospace.
• Advanced proficiency in modern C++.
• Proven track record of building and shipping reliable software within fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute autonomous behaviors for uncrewed aerial vehicles.
• Process sensor data to construct reliable fusion solutions.
• Validate autonomy systems using high-fidelity hardware and software in-the-loop simulation environments.
• Connect Shieldai autonomy software with third-party aircraft and external systems.
• Coordinate with robotics, AI, and systems engineering departments to produce unified solutions.
• Oversee code quality, system architecture, and design reviews.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
