Job summary

M&T Resources in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to drive robust test automation, API testing and CI practices across enterprise-grade applications.

You will design and maintain automated frameworks with C# and Selenium, integrate tests in Azure DevOps pipelines and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to raise product quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Strong automation testing experience in enterprise environments.
• Previous software development experience, ideally using C#.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium test automation.
• Strong API testing experience.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and testing.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Perform API, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
• Develop automation solutions using C# and Selenium.
• Build and maintain automated testing within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data and support testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
• Identify testing risks, gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
• Drive best practice automation and quality engineering standards across the delivery team.
• Support release activities and ensure testing is embedded throughout the SDLC.
