Job summary

NCS Australia seeks an experienced Automation Architect to lead enterprise platform strategies across Azure and AWS. You will own reusable IaC patterns, CI/CD workflows, and secure, scalable platform delivery in a multi-cloud, hybrid environment.

Based in Canberra with flexibility for Melbourne or Sydney for the right candidate, you will align government security baselines with modern automation, guiding cross-functional teams and shaping the next generation of cloud architecture.

Qualifications

• NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure and AWS in enterprise enterprises.
• Advanced IaC, scripting, and building enterprise CI/CD orchestration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of reusable IaC patterns and platform capabilities across Azure and AWS.
• Design integration topologies for hybrid networking and multi-account cloud routing.
• Establish platform engineering standards and DevSecOps guardrails.
