We are seeking Senior Audit and Compliance Officers to join our Compliance and Engagement Group. You will lead complex casework, projects, or teams, and contribute to reviews, audits, assurance activities, risk assessments, dispute resolution and technical advice. You will be trusted to make sound decisions, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in complex and dynamic environments.
As a Senior Audit and Compliance Officer, you will work on complex and significant tax, GST and superannuation matters across a diverse range of taxpayer populations, industries and programs. You’ll apply your technical expertise, professional judgement and analytical skills to identify and address risks, resolve complex issues and deliver fair, consistent and evidence-based outcomes.
Working closely with taxpayers, advisers and stakeholders, you will build trusted relationships, communicate complex issues clearly and influence outcomes through collaboration, sound judgement and evidence-based advice. You will also support capability development through coaching, mentoring and sharing your expertise.
You will provide leadership through your expertise, judgement and actions. You’ll translate business priorities into practical outcomes, support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture. Whether leading people or complex technical work, you will play an important role in maintaining confidence in Australia's tax and superannuation systems and delivering outcomes that benefit the Australian community.
