Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Atlassian System Administrator to maintain and optimise enterprise Jira Data Centre and Confluence Data Centre environments across Australia. You will ensure reliability, performance, and governance while partnering with platform engineers, delivery teams, and stakeholders.

You will manage workflows, permissions, automation, and upgrades, with exposure to cloud-hosted Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• NV2 Australian Government Security Clearance.
• 2-4 years of Jira Data Centre and Confluence Data Centre administration.
• Experience in enterprise-scale or highly regulated environments.
• Strong Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, automation, and admin skills.
• Experience upgrading Atlassian platforms and ongoing maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile, DevOps and collaborative delivery environments.
• Proactive mindset focusing on service reliability, governance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira Data Centre and Confluence Data Centre platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Manage workflows, permission schemes, screen configurations, issue types, custom fields and automation rules.
• Support Confluence governance: space architecture, templates, permissions, macros and content standards.
• Provide Tier 2 support for platform issues, user requests, access management and troubleshooting.
• Assist with Atlassian platform upgrades, patching, maintenance and performance optimisation.
• Monitor Jira and Confluence workloads on Azure AKS and AWS EKS environments.
• Execute and monitor CI/CD deployment pipelines for updates and configuration changes.
• Support Kubernetes operations including pods, services, storage and health.
• Assist with cloud-hosted storage and database services (Amazon EFS and Amazon RDS).
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve platform capability and user experience.
