K&L Gates is seeking a senior associate to join our Real Estate practice in our Perth office, working with property partners and mentoring junior lawyers. You will run your own matters with autonomy, collaborating with a global firm that serves clients nationally and internationally.

You will advise on a broad range of real estate matters including development, acquisitions, disposals and leasing, and work closely with clients to deliver innovative, practical solutions for the property sector.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in real estate transactions.
• Strong mentoring and autonomous work capability.
• Experience with development projects and property law.

Responsibilities

• Advise on industrial, office, retail and seniors housing real estate.
• Lead acquisitions and disposals of development sites and built-form assets.
• Conduct legal due diligence and structuring for investments.

We areseeking a senior associate to join our Real Estate practice to workin our Perth office with property partner Simon Moen and histeam.

Working aspart of a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity todevelop your skills as an excellent real estate lawyer and run yourown matters with a high level of autonomy.

As part of aglobal firm, our Real Estate practice has the ability to serviceour clients' needs both nationally and internationally and we areable to benefit from the experience of our overseas offices thatare at the forefront of some of the property industry's innovativedevelopments.

• Workingclosely with clients, other members of the team and otherpractice groups on a variety of interesting and complex realestate matters
• Assisting clients withtheir acquisitions and disposals of development sites and builtform assets
• Advisingon urban renewal projects and property developments
• Undertaking legal duediligence of real estate
• Assisting clients withtheir investment and co-investment structuring
• Actingfor landlords and tenants with their major leasingrequirements
• Actingon property aspects of renewable energy and infrastructureprojects
• Supporting other teamswithin the firm on the property aspects of their major projectsand transactions
• Anopportunity to develop your BD skills and your personal brandin a supportive collaborative environment
