Job Description

We’re seeking an accomplished Senior architect to join our Brisbane studio as Project Team Leader, taking a key leadership role on one of Queensland’s largest new health infrastructure projects.

This position suits a registered architect operating at Senior Associate level who thrives on leading multidisciplinary teams, fostering a strong design culture, and guiding complex project delivery from early design through to construction.

You’ll be a central point of coordination — ensuring design quality, collaboration, and communication remain at the highest standard across a large team and with our client partners.

Qualifications

• 12 – 15 + years of professional experience in architecture, including large-scale infrastructure projects
• Registered Architect (or eligibility for registration in Queensland)
• Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary design teams of 20+ people
• Demonstrated experience on complex health, education, infrastructure, or major civic projects
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients
• Deep understanding of design management, documentation, and coordination processes
• Proficiency in Revit and collaborative digital design workflows
• Ability to navigate complex project phases including ECI and Design & Construct
• Experience maintaining design quality, alignment with scope, and resourcing requirements
• Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-moving project environments
