Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm, is expanding its Corporate Energy & Natural Resources practice in Perth, seeking a high-calibre Senior Associate to work on major energy and natural resources transactions.

You will advise on large-scale M&A, joint ventures and project development, collaborating with leading resources lawyers on complex deals across domestic and cross-border mandates.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years' post-qualification experience at a leading top tier firm.
• Strong generalist corporate M&A capability across public and private transactions.
• Demonstrated interest in energy and natural resources transactions.
• Outstanding drafting skills and superior analytical capability.
• Ability to effectively manage matters and lead junior team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build lasting client relationships.
• Willingness to participate in business development and grow as a leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead private and public M&A across energy and natural resources sectors.
• Advise on joint ventures, royalties and offtake transactions in mining and oil & gas.
• Support energy and natural resources project development and operations.
