Job summary

Naiman Clarke is seeking a Senior Associate in Commercial Litigation with a focus on class actions in Sydney. The role involves leading day-to-day conduct of matters approaching final hearings, shaping strategy with senior counsel, and coordinating with experts and clients.

You will supervise junior lawyers and contribute to the progression of complex litigation through all stages, in a collaborative, merit-driven culture.

Qualifications

About the role:

You will work on a range of complex class actions and group litigation matters.

Your role will include:

• Having day-to-day conduct of various class actions approaching final hearing stage.
• Advising and influencing litigation strategy of high profile commercial litigation matters.
• Working closely with counsel, experts and key stakeholders.
• Liaising with clients and group members.
• Supporting the progression of complex matters through the litigation process.
• Managing and supervising junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate:

• 5+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation.
• Class actions experience is highly regarded.
• You will be able to work autonomously across all aspects of litigation, with partner oversight as appropriate.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and file management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy team environment.
