Job summary

W-Industries is an energy service company seeking an ASME Quality Engineer to lead quality programs across ASME, ISO 9001, and related standards. The role focuses on audits, QMS improvements, and supplier quality oversight.

Candidates should have 5+ years in ASME QC/QE, experience with welding, piping, and fabrication, and strong data analysis with cross-functional collaboration. Travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ASME Quality Engineering or Quality Control experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AWS, ASME Section VIII, IX
• Ability to read mechanical, structural, and piping drawings
• Proficiency in weld symbol interpretation and technical drawing review

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce quality work practices.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, ASME Code, National Board, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with inspectors, customers, suppliers, and regulatory representatives.
• Lead ASME Code compliance reviews, audits, inspections, and documentation activities.
• Develop and maintain PQPs, ITPs, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate quality activities between Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Administer welding qualification programs, NDE coordination, and special process controls.
• Manage material traceability, receiving inspection, PMI, and quality records.
