Hames Sharley is a leading, award-winning national design practice, delivering Architecture, Urban Design and Interior Design services across a wide range of portfolios, including Health, Commercial, Retail, Workplace, Education, Defence, Residential, Transport and Urban Development.

We’re looking for a Senior Architect with 7+ years' experience to join our dynamic Melbourne Studio! This is an incredible opportunity to lead projects and design teams from concept to completion. The position requires an adaptable, well-rounded individual, with proven experience in all phases of Architectural practice seeking to develop their career.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience across multiple typologies with strong lead design skill
• Strong project management, consultant coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Confident in leadership with excellent verbal and visual communication skills
• Proven design capability and creative problem-solving skills
• Essential knowledge of procurement, construction, detailing and building services
• Proficiency and ability to document in Revitis required
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Enscape, Adobe Suite, SketchUp etc)
• Proven experience on residential and/or retail projects (preferred)
• Registered Architect is preferred

Required Skillset

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in similar role.
• Ability to work across multiple portfolio’s (i.e. retail, residential, mixed-use, industrial)
• Demonstrated leadership with effective time management capabilities
• Site and delivery experience.
