Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a global tech leader in Sydney to hire a Senior Application Security Engineer. You will lead secure coding initiatives, implement SAST tools across the SDLC, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.

You will define scanning strategies, manage vulnerabilities, and mentor teams on secure coding practices in a hybrid, long-term program.

Qualifications

Experience as an Application Security or DevSecOps engineer in enterprise environments.
Hands-on with SAST tools (Snyk, Fortify, Checkmarx, Veracode).
Secure coding practices and SSDLC knowledge.
Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation and onboarding of Secure Code Scanning platforms across the SDLC.
Design integrations with GitHub, GitLab and CI/CD to enable automated scanning.
Collaborate with security, DevOps and development teams on remediation workflows.
Define vulnerability management processes, SLAs, and governance.
