About the Role

The Senior Application Engineer plays a key role in designing, enhancing, and supporting complex utilities processes and systems. Working across billing, metering, and market interactions, you’ll provide technical and functional guidance, conduct architecture reviews, and deliver high-quality solutions across SAP ISU and related platforms. The role involves solution design, issue resolution, optimisation work, Proof of Concept delivery, and cross-team collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders. You’ll support incident management, contribute to technical improvements, and ensure systems align with industry standards and market practices.

About You

• Strong utilities experience across metering, billing, AEMO processes, and customer market interactions.
• Hands‑on expertise in SAP ISU across core modules, with full lifecycle project exposure.
• Skilled in FIT‑GAP analysis, documentation, testing, and translating business needs into system capabilities.
• Confident working with stakeholders, solving complex issues, and guiding teams through solution options.
• Comfortable working across multiple platforms, with experience in HANA, SQL, and emerging technologies valued.
