Job summary

Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, invites applications for a Senior Application Administrator to maintain the SAP landscape, ensuring performance, security and reliability across development, test and production environments.

You will work with SAP functional teams, developers, infrastructure specialists and vendors to support day-to-day operations and contribute to upgrades, integrations and strategic technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP BASIS administration or SAP technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
• Experience with SAP HANA, transport management, upgrades and patching.
• Understanding of SAP security, certificates, integrations, databases and infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative, with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Cloud Connector or SAP BTP is a plus.

• Manage SAP transports and support change and release activities.

• Maintain certificates, secure connectivity and SAP integration points.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, resilience and automation.
• Contribute to SAP projects, migrations and implementation of new capabilities.

Remuneration:

$124,343 - $137,251 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation), although a competitive remuneration package can be applied for an experienced candidate

About the role

In this role, you will:

About you

You will bring:

• Experience working in an SAP BASIS administration or SAP technical operations role
• Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments
• Experience with SAP HANA, transport management, upgrades, patching and system refreshes
• An understanding of SAP security, certificates, integrations, databases and infrastructure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities

Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform, cloud-hosted SAP environments or SAP Cloud ALM would be highly regarded.
