Job summary

Queensland Government is recruiting a Specialist Anatomical Pathologist to provide diagnostic, consultative and autopsy services across a diverse laboratory network in Queensland. You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams, clinical liaison and ongoing service development, while supervising registrars and engaging in teaching.

Strong knowledge of ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing requirements is essential, with eligibility for AHPRA Specialist registration.

Qualifications

• Medical qualification in Anatomical Pathology and eligibility for AHPRA Specialist registration.
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements in a diverse laboratory network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Anatomical Pathology diagnostic, consultative and autopsy services.
• Supervise registrars and participate in teaching and professional development.
