HESTA Superannuation Fund is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead day-to-day operations for unlisted assets, working with investment managers, fund managers and custodians. You’ll manage investments from onboarding through capital calls and distributions, often with several deals in play.

You’ll own the currency hedging program, maintain the unlisted investments register, coordinate year-end valuations and support RG97/APRA reporting, while driving process improvements and automation to uplift team

This is a chance to step into a newly formed team that is growing as HESTA grows. You will take on more ownership, work with senior stakeholders and help shape how the team runs. You will build deep expertise in complex unlisted assets, with the freedom to improve processes and drive automation.

About the role

Working with internal Investment Managers, external fund managers and our custodian you will run the day-to-day operations for HESTA’s unlisted assets including property, infrastructure, private equity and liquid alternatives. You will manage investments from onboarding through to capital calls and distributions, often with several deals in play at once.

About you

You bring a passion for keeping complex investments running smoothly. You have built your experience in a superannuation fund, custodian or fund manager. You take initiative, solve problems early and work easily across teams. You stay calm when priorities shift, and you communicate with confidence at every level, from external managers to senior stakeholders

• Solid understanding of the unlisted asset lifecycle, from the deal being struck and funded through to drawdowns, distributions, valuations and reporting
• Working knowledge of custody processes and superannuation structures
• Exposure to investment activities of a superannuation fund
• Tertiary qualification in commerce, finance or accounting
