Job summary

JMES (Jon Michel Executive Search) is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its M&A Corporate Development team in Sydney. You will be involved in global and domestic transactions including acquisitions, divestments, investments, and joint ventures, leading and supporting multiple workstreams.

You will engage with senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders, conducting financial modelling, due diligence, and preparation of investment papers to drive value creation and growth for the business.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, Big 4 Corporate Finance or Corporate Development.
• Strong financial modelling and analysis skills.
• Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and lead the evaluation and execution of global transactions.
• Undertake financial modelling and analysis, due diligence, and other workstreams.
• Prepare investment papers, executive presentations, and decision-support documents.
• Coordinate advisors and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Advise the business to support value creation and growth.
