Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Crime Assurance to join the Financial Crime Risk function. The role reports to the Head of Financial Crime Assurance and helps ensure controls and processes comply with financial crime requirements, delivering independent testing and remediation oversight.

This permanent hybrid role offers flexibility across Melbourne or other Australian locations and a pathway to influence risk management.

We are currently recruiting multiple driven and experienced analysts to join this enhanced function.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst Financial Crime Assurance reports to Head of Financial Crime Assurance.

What you'll bring to the role

• Solid financial crime risk knowledge with proven application.
• Experience participating in assurance and assurance testing frameworks in a financial institution.
• Experience in participating in financial crime risk assurance teams.
• Experience in issue management, remediation oversight and root cause analysis. Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Forward thinking with ability to ignite potential, elevate performance, and deliver a compelling vision at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong skill at communicating and influencing stakeholders and delivering change to teams and business processes.
• Able to navigate and deliver on business outcomes, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
• Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Preferred - Financial Crime Industry qualification preferred such as ACAMS, AFCS.
