Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Senior Analyst in Operational Risk—Cyber & Tech Oversight (Hybrid) in Sydney, NSW. You will independently review and challenge cyber/tech risk posture, ensuring controls are effective and operating as designed.

You will deliver insights from risk data and incidents to senior management and support risk framework delivery. Role requires strong communication, risk management experience in cyber/tech, and ability to train others on policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber and technology risk management.
• Experience in risk management, assurance or audit within finance or professional services.
• Strong grasp of operational risk principles applied to cyber/tech.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across levels.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and challenge risk management.
• Experience in non-financial risk domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of cyber and technology risk governance across the organisation.
• Review and challenge Line 1 risk management of cyber/tech risks.
• Analyse data to deliver insights on risks and incidents to senior management.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support risk frameworks implementation.
• Provide training and awareness on cyber/tech risk policies.
