Marketing & Communications Manager (ODE Hotels)

About the Role
  • Driving a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to deliver to key Hotel targets and revenue goals
  • Executing the brand at the hotel level with the support of the EVT Marketing team and internal teams
  • Elevating the position of the Hotel and bringing to life the core personality values
  • Drive the digital marketing and brand.com strategy for the three properties with the EVT Head of Brand & Marketing and Cluster Revenue Manager
  • Developing and implementing marketing, PR and social media strategies for the hotel that deliver on business targets
  • Managing the proactive targeting of key media and influencers to position the hotel
  • Researching and seeking innovative PR opportunities, including identifying opportunities for the placement of stories and the promotion of the rooms, restaurants and meeting facilities
  • Work closely with key departments such as the food and beverage team to create and drive promotions and incremental revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with the media community and local VIPs
  • Organise and host incoming media groups and individual visits to the hotel
  • Report Monthly on the area marketing initiatives, digital media results, PR results and present this to the corporate office team
  • Organisation and hosting of events, media groups and influencers
  • Manage and maintain the hotel media packs - writing media materials, including news releases, presentations etc
  • Help guide the team to assist sales and operational departments with required collateral
  • Manage the team to ensure the maintenance and update hotel information and promotions on the website
