The Position

Recruiting an experienced Anaesthetic Staff Specialist for a leading regional health service in Victoria, on a permanent basis. With plenty of support for career progression and team dedicated to excellent health care, working in a state-of-the- art hospital that embraces new technologies.

The division provides a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.

The Anaesthetic team is assisted by Registrars, Acute Pain Nurses and other clinical staff providing a range of services to both public and private patients.

You will be based in one of Victoria's largest regional cities with a population of over 320,000, benefiting from excellent schools, shopping precincts, restaurants, parks, making it a great city to live and work in.

Qualifications

• Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Specialist in Anaesthetics
• Completed or willing to complete a SIMG assessment with ANZCA (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics)
• Experience in a comparable health service at Staff Specialist (Consultant) level

Package

The base salary will be $262,080 to $360,360 per year not including benefits such as salary packaging, relocation allowances, educational and departmental bonuses, flexible working arrangements, staff health and well-being programs.
