Me Medical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist – Anaesthesia to deliver high-quality anaesthetic and obstetric services, including general, regional, and epidural/spinal anaesthesia. This role offers a pivotal leadership position with clinical governance and oversight of GP Anaesthetists, the Anaesthetic Team, Pre-Admission Clinic, and High Dependency Unit.

Permanent role in regional Queensland with competitive remuneration and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of the ANZCA (FANZCA) is required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and CME programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive anaesthetic services across a diverse range of cases.
• Provide leadership and direction to anaesthetic teams and associated units.
• Participate in peer review, education, and anaesthetic meetings.
• Contribute to the out-of-hours on-call roster.
