Job summary

EY Australia is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy practical AI-enabled applications for clients, using Python, Microsoft Azure and production-quality AI engineering.

Working within the Digital Assurance innovation team, you’ll move AI opportunities from discovery through prototyping to secure, scalable production delivery in a hands‑on role; hybrid work across EY offices in Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills with production‑quality AI apps.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services (Foundry, OpenAI, ML, Databricks).
• Experience delivering scalable AI pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Solid understanding of enterprise cloud security, monitoring and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy AI‑enabled applications using Python and Azure.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical designs and production solutions.
• Build scalable data, training and inference pipelines with CI/CD and proper software engineering practices.
