Are you a seasoned AI Engineer who bridges the gap between high-level business strategy and hands-on, production-grade AI delivery?
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer (Innovation & Squad Lead) to act as an innovation catalyst across our systems and operations. In this dual-impact role, you will design and deploy enterprise AI applications while leading sub-squads, running agile ceremonies, and working closely with senior business stakeholders to turn complex needs into high-value AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Production AI Development & Architecture: Design, build, and deploy production‑grade AI applications, RAG pipelines, API services, and LLM integrations. Rapidly prototype proof‑of‑concept solutions (e.g., automated commentary, interactive scenario analysis).
- Stakeholder Engagement & Innovation: Partner with business leads and subject matter experts to discover high‑value automation opportunities. Facilitate ideation workshops and clearly articulate complex AI concepts and risks to non‑technical partners.
- Technical Leadership & Agile Delivery: Lead agile ceremonies, break down technical user stories, conduct code reviews, clear blockers, and step up to direct sub‑squads as team capabilities expand.
- Continuity & Platform Health: Co‑own production AI applications alongside the Senior Data Scientist and engineering team to guarantee system reliability, maintain CI/CD standards, and eliminate single‑point‑of‑failure risks.
Who are you?
- Experience: Around 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering production applications and leading agile delivery.
- Core Technical Stack:
- Languages & Frameworks: Advanced Python (FastAPI, LangChain/LlamaIndex) and SQL.
- AI & Databases: Vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma) and production RAG pipeline architecture.
- Cloud & MLOps: Enterprise cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable tech roadmaps, and experience mentoring engineers.
- Mindset: An innovative self‑starter with strong commercial acumen, dedicated to both rapid prototyping and long‑term production stability.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical mastery).
