The role
We areseeking an individual to take on the opportunity of an experienced Agronomist,based in or around theCoonamble region.In this role you will workclosely with the northern NSW team and become an integral member of awidespread and highly experienced agronomy team that consisting of over 80agronomists across Australia. Delta Agribusiness is strongly committed togrowingits business through adding value to our clients, and your abilityto understand and deliver outstanding performance will be fundamental to yourongoing success.
- Working with existing clients toprovide advice on the full range of agronomic and farm management topics,for mixed farming enterprises. This includes whole farm planning (crop& livestock), seasonal strategies, plant nutrition, pest, disease& weed management knowledge, techniques and strategies through allstages of the production cycle for both crop andpasture.
- Develop relationships with newclients by maximising opportunities for the promotion of agronomicservices and farm consulting services.
- Partnering with clients tomaximise farm profitability through farm management strategies forincreased crop and pasture production utilising cost effective solutions.
- Help drive the adoption of newand evolving technologies including precision agriculture and sensortechnology.
- Assist in the successful runningand co-ordination of field days, farmer meetings and research trials, withadditional skills in writing technical and management articles whererequired.

- Established precision ag teamwho work alongside the advisors to help collect, analyse and implementdata and subsequent recommendations.
To be successful in the role you will
- Have a degree in agronomy ortertiary qualification of similar nature and desired 5 years+ experiencein mixed farming agronomy.
- You must have a commitment toachieving team goals, highly developed interpersonal skills and dedicationto customer service.
- An understanding of theproducts, seasonal timing, and general requirements of rural producerswithin the area.
- Excellent written and oralcommunication skills.
- Genuine interest in both wintercereal cropping and mixed farming systems.
- Have a passion for driving wholefarm performance through field-centric technology.
- Commitment to innovation andsustainable agronomic and farm management practices.
