Job summary

Moore Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the agribusiness team, providing accounting, tax and advisory services to rural clients. You’ll work with managers and partners on financial statements, tax compliance, budgeting and restructures while traveling to regional areas for client visits.

You will mentor junior staff, manage workflow and contribute to a high-performing team culture across flexible, hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in public practice accounting
• CA/CPA studies underway or near completion
• Experience with agribusiness clients is highly regarded
• Experience using Xero, FYI Docs and Xero Active is preferable

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS, management reports and supporting work papers.
• Deliver high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services including budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Supervise and coach junior staff, providing guidance and quality outcomes.
• Manage workflow, budgets and productivity across client portfolios and engagements.
